A Review of “Eat That Frog” by Brian Tracy
Someone told me a while back that in order to increase my knowledge and grow my reach, I needed to read. A lot. I took that to heart and have been devouring books relating to my business and real estate ever since.
When I formed Joe Galindo Coaching, I knew I wanted to pass along this advice, so a key component to my coaching is our monthly Book Club which each coaching client is invited to join. We read a different book every month that either teaches us more about real estate, organization, or life in general.
Brian Tracy’s book Eat that Frog was a very popular read recently. It’s about time management and procrastination, something most of us struggle with. In the book, Tracy encourages his readers to complete high energy tasks first thing in the morning. He goes on to explain the law of efficiency and how there may not be enough time to do everything on your list, however there is always time for the most important task.
We discussed Tracy’s Big Seven in Time Management and Sales which consist of
Planning
Organizing
Staffing
Delegating
Supervising
Measuring
Reporting
Time management should go hand-in-hand with your goals. Your actions and activities that you plan for your day should always point toward achieving your goals.
I encourage you, no matter your career path, to get this book. And stay tuned for future reviews of our most popular Book Club reads.
